Fóssil was created in 2004 in the city of Fortaleza, Ceara Estate, Brazil. Talks and experience and constant music dialog took such a path that the group developed it’s songs with a different structure and musical intent.
Sound vibes and landscapes are created through experiments with sound effects and exploration of surroundings and dynamics and free improvise. On it’s compositions, the band looks for references at soundtracks, Brazilian music and most several variations of contemporary music.
In 2008 the group reaches it’s summit with the newest work calls: Insônia – La movimentacion musicale intermezzo minimal, that set their name on the music scene with constant activity on the music scenario.
Textures and harmonic progressions and vibes give some room to the listener to realize the feature Fossil: musical density within few notes.
